The hotel is nicely located on the Main Street of the small town of Bad Driburg. There is convenient parking at the back of the hotel only yards from the side door for easy access. |The rooms are clean and functional but relatively small. The bathrooms are the same. However they are good value at the price for what they are and fine for a stop over.|What makes a night at the Hotel worthwhile is the warmth and friendliness of Ejvis and Tominaj, the owners, who go out of their way to make you feel at home. |We had and excellent home cooked meal in the small restaurant( full) of fresh asparagus and then the Monday night ' spare rib' special, which was not only tasty but great value.|Breakfast was excellent including freshly prepared scrambled eggs and bacon, not the usual sitting in a chafing dish prepared eggs! |The owners are warm , hard working, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about food and wine. They do everything with a smile. |We had a most pleasant stay and I would not hesitate to go...

Wir waren im Restaurant zu Gast. Wir haben Tisch für 4 Pers. Reserviert mit dem Hinweis auf einen Geburtstag. Nachdem wir sogar etwas zu spät kamen (15min), fragten wir nach unserem Tisch. Nichts vorbereitet oder eingedeckt!!!. Schnell wurden 2 Tische zusammengestellt und mit Besteck belegt. Hingesetzt, sogleich die Frage was wir Trinken wollen, soweit ok. Wir möchten gerne die Speise/Getränkekarte. Wurde gebracht, sogleich wieder die Frage von der schlechtgelaunten knurrig dreinblickenden Bedienung, was wir trinken möchten. Äh bitte noch etwas Zeit geben. Jetzt merkten wir das wir mit dem gewählten Sitzplatz voll im kalten Luftzug sitzen. Also die Frage können wor an den freigewordenen Tisch umziehen, ja..Super...sofort wieder die Frage haben Sie Speisen schon gewählt..zum 3. Mal in 5 min. Wir fühlten uns gehetzt und schauten uns die Speisekarte an, sofort die Bedienung...haben Sie gewählt 🙈..eilig wurden Getränke bestellt. Die dann auch zügig kamen: 2 Aperol leicht wässrig aber ok, Martini im Weinglas naja...und gezapftes Bier mit Eiswürfeln drin😱 meinen Mann hats nach hinten umgeworfen. Als dann nach den Getränken innerhalb von 2 min wieder nach der Bestellung gefragt wurde, obwohl wir alle noch interessiert in die Karte blickten haben wir uns entschieden das Lokal zu verlassrn, da zudem der nebentisch mit 5 Damen so laut war das wir uns anschreien mussten. Beim bezahlen wurde dann gesagt wir hätten auch einen ruhigeren Platz für Sie gehabt???? Absolut nicht empfehlenswert...leider, hatte mich sehr suf mein...
