Staffelsteiner Hof — Restaurant in Bad Staffelstein

The hotel lies in the centre of Bad Staffelstein. We booked a comfort room, which we newly furbished and decorated with warmth and taste. The room was specious, spotless clean, had comfortable beds, a sofa set, writing desk, LCD and free Wi-Fi connection that was free of charge. The bathroom was bright and clean and well furnished with toiletries. The only lack we could find is the missing lift to reach the upper floors. ||The breakfast was served on order. All items were freshly prepared. The offered items and the quality of the products were largely exceeding our expectation. ||Parking is available behind the hotel and is free of charge. ||We wanted to have traditional “fränkische Küche” in a typical restaurant. We were directed by the house lady without hesitation to a nearby restaurant called “Adam Riese”, in spite that the hotel had also a nice dinner menu. ||We were offered by the hotel a tourist card which gave a a reduction to the thermal baths, one of the main attractions in Bad Staffelstein. An absolute must is the visit of the Basilica of the 14 Saints, Another good choice for visiting is Cloister Benz on the opposite hill. In addition visitors have from both sites an overwhelming view on the Main Valley, a choice of typical restaurants and even an brewery at the 14 Saints.||We can strongly recommend the Staffelsteinerhof and whenin the region we will stay again in this lovely hotel. I have not yet actually stayed at Staffelsteiner Hof, but I have been told that it is a nice place. I would be staying in the week of writing this review, however the event in Bad Staffelstein I was going to attend was cancelled.
