Wow! I'm so glad I came back. A warm welcome as always. Manfred (Mani) is not only a great host but also a fantastic cook. I ordered a glass of wine and asked what he had to eat tonight. It usually changes daily. Well, it was a tough choice between a rump steak and tagliatelle with salmon, like the salmon was ever going to get a look in! The steak was beautifully cooked and served simply with some crusty bread, fried onions, and a knob of herb butter. It was absolutely gorgeous, just as I remembered. Who needs a fancy steak house when you've got Mani cooking. Can't wait...

Sind über Google auf das Zirbelstübel gekommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Gott sei Dank haben wir vorher angerufen und reserviert und bekamen noch einen Tisch für 2 Std. und das war unser Glück. Es gibt zwar keine Karte, aber das was der Wirt verkauft ist super und immer ein Besuch wert. Das Lokal ist relativ klein, aber genau das ist daß gemütliche. Der Wirt ist echt und ehrlich und seine Bedienung sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich gleich willkommen, und es schmeckt sehr sehr gut. Mann sieht von aussen nicht gleich was in ihm steckt, aber ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen, und werde es auch jedem...
