A Love Affair with Laugen Croissants at BrotHaus Louis-Schmetzer
My palate still reminisces about the Laugen croissant from BrotHaus Louis-Schmetzer, a bakery that has perfected the marriage of traditional baking with innovative flavors. This establishment, with a well-deserved 4.4-star rating, is not just a bakery but an institution that celebrates the art of bread-making.
On my last visit, the Laugen croissant was a standout. It’s a delightful twist on the classic, with its distinct pretzel-like exterior and buttery, flaky layers within. Each bite offers a satisfying contrast of textures and a taste that lingers, urging you to savor every moment.
BrotHaus isn’t merely about the bread; it’s about the experience. From the inviting aroma that greets you at the door to the friendly staff who serve with a smile, every visit is a warm embrace. With its cozy dine-in option and efficient takeaway service, BrotHaus ensures that every customer leaves with a content heart and a bag full of baked treasures.
For those in Ansbach or visitors to this charming town, a stop at BrotHaus is a must. Whether it’s for their exquisite Laugen croissant or any of their other delectable offerings, you’re in for a treat that’s baked...
Read moreI had occasion to visit with my wife on the 1st October. We are not German speaker's and the female assistant was explaining the menu only to be very rudely interrupted by a much older male colleague, he berated her in front of us, and, showed extreme aggression towards us, I may not understand the language but, I do understand body language and facial expressions. Having completed our meal we made a point of thanking the young lady for her assistance and subsequently found out that it was the manager who spoilt our experience!!!

Moderner Stil, viel Glas.
