As an avid traveler, I always look forward to visiting this restaurant for truly authentic German cuisine. My first experience with their pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe) was truly unforgettable! It’s the dish that keeps me coming back time and time again. The portions are generous, and the quality is exceptional, making it worth every penny.

On recent visits, I tried the currywurst and schnitzel, both equally delicious and satisfying. Their käsespätzle and apfelstrudel are also incredible- flavorsome and perfectly prepared. But the highlight for me was the chicken soup; it was so good I went back for seconds!!

This was the best food this side of Germany and the best service on this planet. We got very lucky with the waitress, who was the friendliest warmest loveliest person ever, and equally lucky with the chef, who was a magician with food, honestly. The seasonal dishes were so good that we ended up repeating the order of the wild blueberry pie, even though the portion is more than satisfying. Group of 7 of us came for a dinner last night. The service was really good, friendly and very welcoming. We all needed a bit of help to be able to order from the menu as the menu was in German language only but staff were happy to help us all. Our food arrived promptly and all the meals were hot and very tasty. The place is warm, cosy, in traditional German style. We all enjoy our dinner. Would recommend this place to anyone 😊.
