We have made reservation on phone in english, as foreigners. When we arrived after a whole day driving we were guided to our table and even got english menu. Ordered wine and beer and after finishing our food we wanted to pay they told us they don’t accept card. They told us to drive down from the mountains to the closest city where is an ATM to pick up cash. Even the waitress knew we had alcohol already and it’s not allowed to drive in Germany with a glass of beer. Since both of us had alcohol this was not an option. In the end we could transfer money to the owner’s bank account, but they wanted to keep us there until the money arrives, but since we are from different country this could have taken a day or more. We had two meals here over two nights and enjoyed excellent schnitzel, cordon blu pork and beef salad as well outstanding and very tender Argentine steak (the best steak we have had during our two years on the road in Europe). The soups were very special ( I need the garlic soup recipe) and the servings so large we couldn’t fit in dessert. Read moreThis is a special thank you, to he owner Miriam. At the arrive of the day, since we did not have a reservation for dinner, we were not able to had dinner around 6 pm. But honestly speaking, the spot was truly full, no seat available and the menu was very attraxtive with reachable prices. After a couple of hours, due to the emergency situation, we knocked the Miriam's door once again.And she helped us with huge satisfaction. She just did not let us leave with "Sorry".
