El-Bandito — Restaurant in Berlin

The food quality is very poor. I had the Mexico Steak and the chili tasted like it came out of a can. The meal was very boring and lacked flavor. My daughter had the vegetarian fajita which she liked but it only came with two tortillas which wasn't enough for the amount of vegetables she had. The waiter was very nice but none of the staff could speak Spanish or pronounce Spanish words correctly which was surprising at a Mexican restaurant. All in all not a good experience. It's not always easy to find good Mexican food in Berlin, but I decided to give this place a chance since it was in our neighborhood. While it's not perfect, I thought they did a very good job at creating rather authentic Mexican cuisine, and the atmosphere was very casual and relaxing (we sat outside which was nice), and the service was friendly and prompt. There is good cocktails. There is not micheladas. A Mexican restaurant have this drink on the menu. The restaurant it's not 100% Mexican. I ordered a Sopa de tortilla and it was tomato soup with fried tortilla. I ordered beef fajitas. It was ok.
