Taj Mahal — Restaurant in Berlin

Food - 1/10 Cleanliness (toilets) - 4/10 Customer service - 1/10 Management - 2/10 Value for money - 2/10

This use to be a good place at one point of time but has totally deterioriated in its quality of food and customer service. Waiting for an hour and a half if you get a dish you haven't ordered and then the manager being clueless about what his ingredients of the dish in the menu are, its total disappointment and loss of confidence in quality of food. I ordered a paneer dish and vegetable curry which turned out to be of the same curry base and when challenging the manager he says its differently made by them. Well the menu says the truth but and the ingredients aren't there at all that were ordered in the paneer dish. I wonder people having less knowledge of authentic Indian food might be fooled by them. He was least bothered though even after looking at the menu.

Toilets were fairly clean (usable)

Guests in the restaurant are 3rd priority after Lieferando and personal deliveries.

Huge potential to improve to attract further customers. I would prefer another Indian restaurant in a distance taking one hour from there to atleast get quality of food although late!

PS - the waiter though was a really good guy but tied between the chef and his team lead priorities. ALthough he tried to balance the situation, I would not...

We have waited 90 mins for food to arrive on table and guess what dishes we have order were not been served. When asked it is not what we have order and to that they have replied this is how it is in our restaurant. We being native to such food and If they can lie to us and serve such dishes, I don’t know what they can serve to people who are foreign to Indian food.

I would recommend you all not to visit this restaurant. You would not enjoy food here. I have taken a picture of a dish we have ordered called chili paneer - please see picture and decide yourself.

My family and I had the BEST dinner at this restaurant. Everything tasted amazing, the quality of the food was very good and the service was excellent. The waiter was so nice, he even helped us translating the menu since we don't speak German. I highly recommend the butter chicken and the tandoori chicken, but everything was so good and tasty.
