We had some problems with the owner when arranging to arrive late at night in which the customer service was not really good, however, our stay was quite nice. We only stayed the night here but the rooms had a lot of space, there were very comfortable beds and the breakfast was also very nice. Location is very remote, nice view, but I imagine there isn't a lot to do in the area.

We ended up in this small hotel after needing to rebook a couple of times. we really enjoyed our stay but it's good to know some of the downsides. Prior to our vacation we read some horrible reviews so i thought to clear some of them up. the building: yes it's quite old: build in the 70's and he doesnt really renew, he keeps refreshing thoug! walls where being painted, dining area looked very new, we even saw him bring in new TV's, our room was quite good as well. the beds: matrasses are fine, but the pillows are very soft.

the Food: the reviews where right, food is very good!

Smoking: yes, they do smoke in the bar, the halway upstairs only smelled like it when they smoked in the basement.

the service: not the grumpy old man i was promissed, he was helpfull and really wanted to give a nice service to everyone, locals included. He was a man of few words and quite. all in all a friendly man, just be polite!

the dog: yes there's a dog but the owner knows the dog isn't supossed to be with you while you eat. The dog, Laika, tends to bark when you arrive in the parking area.

noise: yeah, it can be loud sometimes, the building doesn't hold...

Positive: Location in beautiful countryside and private parking. No problem to have pet with us and no extra charges for it.||||Negative: Smoking allowed in bar/eating area so the smell and smoke were overbearing throughout hotel. Some of the staff were particularly unfriendly and unhelpful, others not so. On a weekend it was quite loud in the evening as there is a disco downstairs, also parking fills up every evening for this reason and we couldn't park although we were guests, not visitors. Room was very cold, room heaters were turned off for the season it seems and turned on just when we entered the room. No toiletries apart from last bit of hand soap enough to wash hands 3 times. Breakfast poor and stale (bread, jams, cold meats and yoghurt). Coffee was like brown water but that is common in Germany, not hotel specific. WiFi only worked in smoky bar area. No English speaking staff, a basic requirement for hospitality businesses. If we visit the area again we will certainly choose a...

What a disappointment this hotel turned out to be. On the positive side it is situated in a quiet pretty rural village. The food was really very good and plentiful and at 11€ for the half board option extremely good value.||However our room was very tired and shabby. There were tiles missing in the bathroom, the shower curtain was dirty and the grouting around the tiles in the shower cubicle was black and mouldy. There was also grouting missing around the light switch which meant the wiring was visible. The overflow grill was missing from the shower tray leaving a hole. There were also holes in the duvet cover and the bottom sheet had been sewn up to repair it. By the handle to open the door to the balcony the wall was black with mould. But the worst thing of all was the terrible smell of stale tobacco smoke throughout the...
