Restaurant Cafe Vierseenblick — Restaurant in Boppard

There is an old man guarding the entrance gate to the restaurant. As all tables were occupied, he asked us to wait in the queue. We were waiting at the queue at the gate. As it became clear we will have to wait for some time, I have come over to the old man and asked if I can use the toilet, while we are waiting. He replied quite in a rude form, that it is forbidden and I have to wait in a queue till we have our turn to enter... I said "Please", explained one more time that we anyway will be waiting for the table, but he impatiently said "No" and closed the gate right in front of my nose. You can judge yourself, what kind of service and relation to guests it is. It supposed to be a pleasant dinner in a restaurant with a view.. This situation has spoiled all expectation, so we left. For me this is not acceptable. What a shame. I can easily say, this is the most unfriendly case which happened with me in cafes in Germany. Absolutely not recommended and...

Imagine waiting in queue to have a seat at the table, and as waiting time lasts for a few minutes - asking permission to come quickly in to use the toilet. Answer from the old man guarding the entrance gate - "nein, verbotten". This is the kind of service and attitute you will receive here. Guys, instead of running a cafe, you are better fit to work as officers in a concentration camp. You are a shame of Germany. Advice for passers-by: take a snack with you, and as for toilet - help yourselves round the corner of this posh...

Die sehr schöne Aussicht und der gemütliche, etwas in die Jahre gekommene Biergarten, ist leider alles, was man als positiv bezeichnen kann. Bedient wird man nur mäßig freundlich. Wir kamen zu zweit gegen 16:15 Uhr. Das erstes verkündete man uns, dass um 17:00 Uhr geschlossen wird. Das angepriesene "Tagesmenu" Bockwürstchen mit Brot für unverschämte 8,50€ gab es nicht, da die Brotschneidemaschine schon desinfiziert sei (haben die kein Messer?!). Der erste Impuls war, einfach wieder zu gehen, was wir im Nachhinein auch besser getan hätten. Aufgrund der schönen Aussicht blieben wir und bestellten Bockwürstchen mit Kartoffelsalat für noch unverschämtere 11,50€. Der Kartoffelsalat kam in geringstmöglicher Meng aus dem Eimer auf den Teller, dazu 10g Senf in völlig unnötiger Einwegverpackung. Mit der anschließend mit 50 Cent in Rechnung gestellten weiteren 10g-Portion Senf schoss man in Sachen Wucher hier den Vogel ab. Offensichtlich legte man auch keinen großen Wert auf Sauberkeit. Ein Getränk (Flaschenbier) kam im Glas verunreinigt durch eine milchige undefinierbare Substanz auf den Tisch und wurde erst nach überflüssiger Diskussion umgetauscht.
