5 Stars - A Bavarian Gem with Incredible Food and Atmosphere!

Utzhof - Hofcafé Utz is an absolute delight! I'm giving it 5 stars without hesitation, particularly for its fantastic service and stunning location.

The food here is truly excellent. They offer a wonderfully temporary Bavarian style, and you can really taste the freshness and quality of the mainly local ingredients. It's a genuine taste of the region.

The setting is also a highlight. Inside, you're surrounded by the lovely, typical charm of an old farming house, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Outside, the wonderful terrace is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The service was incredibly friendly and impressively rapid. You feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment you arrive. It's clear that Utzhof - Hofcafé Utz is loved by locals, which speaks volumes about its quality and charm. Highly...

We stayed at Utzhof in apartment "Laubenhorst" for a week in June and had a lovely time. In walking distance to the Chiemsee beach in Gollenshausen, really ideal for water fun with children. The apartment is very clean and cosy, provided great views onto the mountains, and is at the end of a quite village road. The Utzhof does not have farm animals any more but plenty of neighbour farms with cows and everyone welcomed our visit with our toddler. The Utzhof is also just a 10 min car/ bus ride away from Gstadt, where you can take a ferry to Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee islands (Really worth a trip!). Feine Oase in Chiemseenähe.

Dank eines Chiemgauwanderführers wurden wir auf den Utzhof aufmerksam und werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Für Kinder gibt es einen netten Spielplatz in Blicknähe und Hunde dürfen bei schlechtem Wetter auch in die Räume kommen, was leider nicht selbstverständlich ist und manch gern genutzten anderen Anbieter weniger flexibel machte.

Was uns aber wirklich positiv berührte, waren die unerwartet liebevollen Details. Beispielsweise beobachtete ich kurz vorm Servieren einen Mann - der Wirt? - wie er mit einer kleinen Schale in seinen Kräutergarten wanderte und an einem Pflänzchen zupfte. Auf meinem Frühstück erkannte ich dann den Kopf einer Minze.

Aber auch der Rest war für Auge und Herz ansprechend präsentiert.

Vor allem aber und hiermit das wohl Wichtigste in der Kulinarik: Alles mega lecker 😋.

Auch die Innenräume und selbst die Sanitärräume sind mit sehr viel Herz angelegt worden. Dieses Hofcafé eignet sich damit also auch, wenn man jemandem etwas Gutes tun oder ein wenig geschmackvoll...
