Pizzeria Da Carlo — Restaurant in Bruchmühlbach-Miesau

Great food, great service, great outdoor beer garden atmosphere. Stopped here on way from Stuttgart to Kaiserslautern, just jumped off the highway when Google told us food this way. We were willing to eat anything reasonable but this blew us away. The pizza is tasty and has some unique combos... get the pepperoni and hots. Son got the Mexican chicken dish with noodles. Superb. The large mixed salad with bacon and breadcrumbs to start with house dressing was almost a meal alone... the "bread crumbs" are actually small ing homemade croutons pan fried right before serving. Cold pils on tap and a server who was attentive and friendly and noted that son had pushed his tomatoes off to side on his appetizer so delivered his dinner salad without tomatoes... that's heads up service. I would give a zero if it was possible. We went once and got pizza it wasnt good but decided to give the other items a try. Went tonight, the service was awful. Husband had the Calamari it was the worst we have had anywhere in the world. He didn't eat it and they took it off the bill but made us pay for the salad that came with the meal. My sister ordered Rahm Schnitzel, what came out was Jaeger schnitzel and had canned mushrooms. I ordered chicken with wine mushroom sauce again canned Mushrooms. What's up with that. I could have made this food at home. I will never go back when I complained about the food and service I was told to stay home by the owner. Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible food and service. We spent 27 euros...

Just awesome...always get treated like family...the menu has an OMG huge selection so if she wants Italian and he wants schnitzel Da Carlo has got you covered and you'll both be happy! Also if the weather is nice it is not far from the bike path from ohmbach see and they have an awesome Biergarten out back! So kind of held off on this review because I know once you go you will be back...ugh and then I gotta ask is this seat taken? Enjoy and see...
