The restaurant combines under one roof the possibility of either eating a gourmet-level menu (called "Zur Tant" gourmet restaurant) or ordering a bistro-level meal, which they call their "Piccolo" menu or "Piccolo" restaurant.

My review here refers to the Piccolo, which I have visited much more often than the gourmet restaurant. In my opinion, Piccolo offers very good food and outstanding wines at a fair price. I will certainly continue to visit the Piccolo regularly...

I actually wanted to give this place a try since ages for now... Was schocked by the ambiance.. Sorry, we dont say 'old school' for a vintage place or something... Or a venue with ages old furnitures. But again, I do believe they def. need some lifting job over here as the food was awesome.

We were at the Gourmet Restaurant by the way, as Yelp doenst consider to devide the Gourmet to the bistro (Piccolo) ones.

Positiv: Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut, die empfohlenen Weine hervorragend. Die Bedienung während des Menüs wunderbar. Schwächen (konstruktive Kritik): Für ein 6-Gang Menü waren manche Portionen zu mächtig. Auch ließ gegen Ende des Menüs die Aufmerksamkeit und Anwesenheit der Bedienung merklich nach. Dem Gefühl des "Verlassenseins" zwischen Dessert und Bezahlvorgang konnte man sich leider nicht erwehren. Hier bitte Beispiel an bspw. guten griechischen Restaurants nehmen, wo in der Regel ein Digestif angeboten bzw. proaktiv nachgefragt wird und der Ausgang des Menüs und der Gastlichkeit noch einmal mit verstärkter Kundenbindung einher geht - vor allem bei Neukunden. Alles in Allem ein wohlschmeckendes kulinarisches Erlebnis - leider mit dem...
