Four-Star Review for Haus Kräh beim Krahwirt ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the opportunity to stay at Haus Kräh beim Krahwirt, and overall, it was a delightful experience, though there were a couple of areas that could use improvement. First and foremost, I want to highlight the friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their warmth and attentiveness truly added to the overall experience. The atmosphere of the Haus is charming and inviting. The décor reflects a lovely blend of traditional and modern elements, creating a cozy milieu that makes you feel right at home. The surrounding area is also beautiful, perfect for leisurely walks and enjoying the natural scenery. Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. The selection was modest choices , but still impressive, featuring a variety of fresh, local ingredients. It was a great way to start my day, and I appreciated the effort put into providing a satisfying meal. However, I must mention a couple of drawbacks. Unfortunately, I noticed some (huge) mould and mouldy stains in the bathroom, which was a bit off-putting. It’s an area that could definitely use some attention to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests. Additionally, there was no kitchen available during my stay, which limited some dining options. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my time at Haus Kräh beim Krahwirt and would recommend it to others. With its friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, and great breakfast, it’s a wonderful place to stay, provided some of the maintenance concerns are addressed. I look forward to returning in the future!

Food great, from outside the place looks inviting but staying there was a nightmare! The first thing that hit me was the smell in the room, this would have maybe been better if they had bothered to air the room before we checked in. Maybe we got “lucky” with the room we had but saying it needs some TLC is being nice! Mould in the shower, there was definitely no new wonderful glass door shower as shown in their wonderful pictures. I would love to say it was clean but the filthy walls (which a simple paint job could probably fix) and the seriously stained carpet (That just needs to be ripped out) made it feel that much worse! The dirty tiles in the bathroom next to the toilet didn’t help either. We will be visiting the area often but will 100% never be staying here again, makes no sense when we literally needed to shower somewhere else.I Probably would have been more comfortable just sleeping in our car - believe me I was very tempted cause no amount of pictures could describe the smell, a delicate blend of old, mold & damp with a hint of pee. 🙈 If you are asthmatic or have any bronchial issues I doubt you would survive just a night.

If u don't have a car, don't bother coming here. U can't even walk there. The obly way is by car. I didn't know this and I called the hotel for help, but no one answered. I also had to unfortunately and dangerously walk on the express road. After arriving, no receptionist was there. Our keys were left on a table with our names on a paper assigned to Numbers of the room. The room was small and there wasn't good lighting. Though it was clean. The morning breakfast was good. It was clean and the breads were kept warm. All in all, I wouldn't come here if it wasn't cheap. If u are looking for something nice and cozy, not here. But if u are looking for something cheap which naturally comes with bad service, u could come here.

Of my many, many reviews, I believe I have only given one really bad review. I often give places the benefit of the doubt, in that they may just be having a bad day. However, this 'place'...||||We arrived at the Beim Krahwir, which is located at the top of a very steep hill, after cycling over 100km and my wife duly went to book in while I watched the bicycles. We had booked the previous evening and had received confirmation emails that our reservation had been made. However, my wife was told by the receptionist that there was no booking for us and, no matter what my wife said, the receptionist just repeated that there was no booking. She would not listen to reason, even when shown the booking confirmation, so my wife duly asked to speak to the manager. ||||The manager's response was to say that it was booking.com's fault, they had double booked, so there was nothing he could do. I have cycle-toured all over Europe - we were doing the Danube on this trip - and never have I experienced double-booking from booking.com.||||When my wife complained, she was told in no uncertain terms that it was not his [the manager's] problem and she should take it up with bookings. When my wife expressed her displeasure - in a rational and calm way - he replied with, "Oh, welcome to Germany, thank you, goodbye". At this point, she came out, told me what he had said and left me to deal with it. In short, he hummed and hawed when I went in, tried to find us somewhere else, although his rude and arrogant attitude did change somewhat when he realised things were becoming a bit 'heated'. Incompetence and inefficiency I can deal with, but the arrogance and rudeness of this particular 'gentleman' was way out of line. From this point on he just kept apologising and saying it was not his fault.||||I like trip advisor reviews, but the one thing I don't like is that this rude, arrogant spineless manager can reply to this, but I won't be able to respond to his comments. I strongly suspect he simply booked someone else into the room - after we had booked it - so he could get all the money, as opposed to giving booking.com a percentage if he had actually honoured his obligation to us. He has already proved to be a man of extremely low morals and character, so I expect some fairy tale response from him. ||||I will now be looking at other ways I can warn people against going to this place, whether they be reviews or...
