Chang Tong Thai-Restaurant — Restaurant in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen

It was the first time I order and must say that I will for sure order again! I called in advance to make my order and collected the food locally. The restaurant is located directly in front of the football field. There is plenty of parking spaces for cars in front of the restaurant and some additional paking near by, walking distance. The pick up is made through a window and all security/prevention measures are taken into account. The lady who attended me was really nice and the food was, in a few minutes, ready to go. Although in average the cost is a bit higher compared to the Thai restants I know in Karlsruhe, I must say that it is worth it, because the food tastes better and the ingredients seem to be of better quality. The dishes I tried were really nice served in terms of quantity, and contrary to some restaurants it was not just sauce. Again, it was nicely served and tasted really good! For sure i will try...

🇩🇪 nett eingerichtetes Vereinsheim zum Thai Restaurant, wir hatten uns kurzfristig zur Einkehr entschieden, auch ohne Reservierung gab es keine Probleme, das Personal war sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich, das Essen 🍜🍤 war richtig lecker und auch reichlich, bei einem stimmigen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, wir können dieses Location empfehlen, macht einfach weiter so 👍

🇨🇵 Clubhouse joliment décoré pour ce restaurant thaïlandais. Nous avons décidé d'y aller sans préavis, et même sans réservation, il n'y a eu aucun problème. Le personnel était très sympathique et pas trop insistant. La nourriture 🍜🍤 était vraiment savoureuse et copieuse, avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. 🇹🇷 Tay restoranı için güzel dekore edilmiş bir kulüp binası. Kısa bir süre içinde uğramaya karar verdik ve rezervasyonsuz bile olsak hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. Personel çok güler yüzlüydü ve ısrarcı değildi. Yemekler 🍜🍤 gerçekten lezzetli ve boldu, fiyat-performans oranı da iyiydi. Burayı tavsiye edebiliriz, yeter ki böyle iyi çalışmaya devam edin 👍

Wir waren heute zum 1. Mal dort. Hatten Vorspeisenplatte, danach hatten wir einmal die Nr. 38 auf der Speisekarte und einmal die Nr. 46. Die Vorsspeise war tadellos. Zur Nr. 38 ist zu sagen, sie war recht scharf obwohl nicht so gekennzeichnet, aber das weiß man bei der Thai-Küche. Allerdings waren Nüsse dabei, die a.) nicht jeder mag und die b.) bei Allergie gefährlich werden können. Dies stand so nicht auf der Karte. Wenn es aber Bestandteil der Massaman-Curry-Soße ist, sollte man den selteren Gästen der Thai-Küche dies mitteilen. Zur Nr. 46 gibt es nur 2 Kritikpunkte. 1. Die Soße trennte sich schon beim servieren und 2. wenn es heißt "knusprige Ente" sollte sie auch knusprig sein, dies war sie jedoch nur an 2 Stücken. Essen war reichlich und auch ausgewogen. Die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend und hat die Kritikpunkte direkt an die Küche weitergeleitet, mit dem Ergebniss dass das Curryhuhn nicht berechnet wurde. Habe es dennoch bezahlt, denn wir hatten es ja gegessen. Alles in allem.......das Lokal gibt es erst seit ca. 6 Wochen, und man kann noch verbessern. Ist aber für die Region eine Bereicherung, zumal der Yanktse sehr nachläßt.

Ergänzung: Wir waren gestern (nach ein paar Monaten) wieder vor Ort, diesmal mit 6 Personen plus zwei Kinder. Zuerst das Positive. Alle Kritikpunkte meiner ersten Bewertung wurden abgestellt. Soße war absolut top, Ente war super knusprig, auf die Nüsse wurde in der Speisekarte hingewiesen. Und man weist auch lustig mittels Chillischoten auf die Schärfe hin. Da wir dieses mal zum Ersten Mal mit Kindern da waren, ergaben sich 2 kleine aber schnell abzustellende Kritikpunkte. 1. Es gibt leider keine Kindermenues oder Kinderteller. Hier wäre es vielleicht angebracht, mal halbe Portionen anzubieten. 2. Es ist nicht wirklich schön für ein Kind, wenn alle Erwachsenen schon Ihre Vorspeise haben und das Kind auf sein Essen warten muß. Daher würde ich empfehlen, die Kinder vorrangig zu bedienen. Alles in allem wieder ein Erlebnis, wir...
