Gasthof Oberhauser - Hotel zur Post — Restaurant in Egling

The first day I arrived from the airport at 10pm, I was hungry and thirsty; After checking in, I tried to have something for dinner but kitchen had closed half an hour before. Nevertheless, the waiter was nice and polite, served me some water and brought me some pretzels (I had to have a really hungry face!). In the morning it was quite better, breakfast was enjoyable though I missed some sweet pastries. I could have dinner two different days, the food was really tasty, most of them with different sauces but great anyway. I would have tried some of the good looking pies they had if they had been included somewhere in the menu, but they were not written in anywhere so I saw them after finishing the meal. The last day I had depart at 6:30 in the morning to the airport and had similar problem as the first day, breakfast time on Saturday began at 7am, so I had to eat something somewhere else.||Although their schedule is a bit restricted somehow, I would repeat if I had the chance with any doubt, people were kind and helpful, and they spoke english perfectly, I don't have a clue about german and it's a problem when...

In these difficult times for Ukraine, when the war has started and we have left Ukraine with our family with four children, we have had a chance to meet unbelievably kind-hearted and generous people. You had provided us a place to stay for two weeks without any payment. It was an incredible support for us at that time. We appreciate it a lot and value every day spent at your place. The hotel itself is a very cozy and comfortable place. It was a very pleasant stay. During our stay all the personnel we have met were very polite, professional and supportive. Separate note for the unbelievably delicious food that was served in the restaurant. It was indeed the best food we have ever tried in Germany. Thank you again for all the help.
