Ristorante Pizzeria Lucania Gmbh — Restaurant in Eschborn

Something must have changed dramatically for the worse in the last year, since the number of negative reviews of this place has soared, commenting disfavourably on the quality of the food as well as the unfriendly and arrogant attitude of the proprietor(?). The standard response of the management seems to be to dismiss the critical remarks as vindictive responses originating from "fake accounts". My own experience from a visit three nights ago is, unfortunately, one of utter disappointment. Being an avid enthusiast for Italian cuisine, I was very pleased to find one of my favourite dishes on their menu - Fegato di vitello alla veneziana (Calf's liver strips in a white wine sauce with sauteed onions). Since I have a slight hearing problem, I may have missed or misunderstood the waiter's comfirmation of my order, but my surprise was great when he brought me a portion of liver "alla pizzaiola" (liver stew in a tomato sauce). When I alerted him to the fact that this was not what I had ordered, he graciously offered to exchange the dish for the one I had asked for. After quite a long wait he then brought me another dish with liver and onions, but definitely not what I had wanted, since this version was drowned in an unappetizing, thick brown gravy. I was reluctantly forced to complain again, and when the waiter told me that this was "how we make it here", I asked to speak to the manager. When he arrived, he was totally uninterested in my comments, brusquely removed the dish from the table and instead presented me with the bill for my two glasses of wine, indicating that I would not be served anything else ever again in his establishment. I paid for the wine and subsequently left the place, feeling very sorry for the waiter, who was loudly scolded by his boss...

Wir hatten heute keine Lust zu kochen und dachten, komm, wir unterstützen ein Restaurant in der Region, tun damit was Gutes, und unsere Wahl fiel auf Pizza, Pasta und Tiramisu, was wir bei der Pizzeria LUCANIA in Eschborn bestellten. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und der "Fahrer" war auch wie immer freundlich und nett. Die Tortelloni mit Spinat und Ricotta lagen in einer Art Tomatensoße? die extrem salzig war. Dies empfand nicht nur meine Tochter so, sondern auch alle Erwachsenen, die diese Soße probierten. Mein Partner hat bei der Pizzeria angerufen und dies bemängelt, woraufhin man uns das gleiche Gericht nochmal schickte, genauso versalzen wie zuvor. Auch die Pizza Nr. 4, Tomate, Käse, Zwiebeln, Salami ( wir wollten eigentlich nur Schinken anstatt Salami, bekamen aber dann beides - hier handelte es sich wohl um einen Verständigungsfehler?) schmeckte nicht. Die Pizza hatte einen nicht definierbaren Nachgeschmack und war extrem ölig. Die Pizza und das Pastagericht haben wir dem Fahrer wieder mitgegeben und das nochmals gelieferte Pastagericht, was ebenfalls versalzen bei uns angekommen ist, hat mein Partner direkt bei der Pizzeria Lucania, beim Eigentümer persönlich, bemängelt - immerhin ging es um ein Pastagericht zu 9 Euro. Dieser probierte im Beisein meines Partners die Soße und kam zu dem Entschluss, die Soße sei nicht versalzen! Nunja, vielleicht sind unsere Geschmacksnerven nur zu sensibel? Die Pizzeria Lucania ist dann aber wohl nicht mehr das Lokal unserer Wahl! Das Pastagericht wurde dann ebenfalls zurückgegeben! Von unserer Bestellung von insgesamt 30 Euro hat wirklich nur das Tiramisu geschmeckt, der Rest war Lehrgeld. Der eine Stern in der Bewertung ist für den...
