Absolutely disappointing. We went as a group of 4 to grab a dinner. Communication with the waiter was difficult from a get go in both English and German, he didn't see to know the menu at all and asked to point it every item we tried ordering. Didn't seem to know what a mohito is either. Roughly 40 minutes after placing an order out appetizers arrived with one missing, after checking with a different waitress about it she said they've been out of it that day (would be nice to be informed while ordering, we would just order something else instead). 10 minutes later we received our drinks with 2 missing (took another 10 minutes to get them). Took roughly 1,5 hrs to get main courses with, AGAIN, one missing, after checking on it, they never had it on an order. They arrived at the table 15 minutes later and said I'll be out in 2 minutes. Took another 20. At least 4 drinks we ordered as refills never arrived. All of this and not a single apology, yet there was a table that came after us, and after waiting 30 minutes for their food waiter apologized to them for a wait. Food wasn't bad but it also wasn't worth waiting 2 hours to get it. Won't...

This review is a tough one. On one end the food is good, on the other end the service from the waiters is really lacking, then on the flipside the decor of this restaurant is all over the place. It's getting a 3 star downgrade due to the waiter's, they really need to be trained better, be more attentive and all around do their job better. I can tell the owner and cook are doing their best with trying to run a successful business, but if you have staff that doesn't care about how to treat customers, those customers won't come back. The ambiance needs to be completely redone. It feels all over the place and doesn't have a flow through the restaurant. There is no clear host station or area you should be waiting to be greeted. The bar area is the main eyesore and requires attention immediately. All in all, order your food to go, if you can ever get them on the phone, don't waste your time sitting down unless they make some...

My husband and I came here for date night as we had a good experience a few months ago, however this restraunt has really deteriorated both in the quality of food and service. When we first came in and asked for a table for two the waitress gave us a sour look and pointed to a table. After we ordered it took her half an hour to bring us the water and the wine, the sushi came out 10 minutes before our water did. This was surprising at first, but understandable after we tasted the sushi. It tasted a lot like gas station sushi, premaid, not made to order. After a less than mediocre dinner that left a heavy uncomfortable feeling in our stomachs we waited for half an hour for the check we asked for. My husband had to get up to go looking for the waitress. We were very disappointed, will not be...

My friends and I were looking for a new place to go and eat; we came across this restaurant. The place is small, however there plenty of tables with comfy chairs. Food wise, we ordered the T1 Age Gyoza, M16 Ton-Ka-Tsu Maki, M17 Dragon Maki, B3 Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, F1 Beef Rib Pot, F3 Chicken Chilli, and the D1 Mat Cha Ice. All of which tasted great. Service was good and our food came out in a timely manner. Granted, the restaurant was not packed when we were there, so I can comment if food is delayed if there are more people. The only complaint that I would have is that the food is a bit pricey, but if you don't eat out often then it shouldn't be an issue. So please, go and enjoy a meal with your friends, family, or a date.

Tried it for the first time after hearing people RAVE about it. The tempura shrimps were breaded with old burnt oil. Literally could taste the burn from the oil. The breading was soggy and had 0 flavor. We also ordered beef and pork bulgogi. My husband said he’s had dog in Korea and it tasted better. Lacked flavor and only had broccoli. No onions or leeks anywhere in sight. The spicy tuna roll was the only food we could finish. Tasted like they put salsa in it instead siracha. Basically rice and salsa was all you could taste. I know Asian food is Germany is hit and miss but this was by far the worst we’ve had. The ladies were extremely nice and welcoming but the food was not edible despite the €55 bill.

Maki Maki is an absolute treasure! Nice cozy place offering a delightful mix of Korean and Japanese cuisine, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. The flavors are authentic and perfectly balanced, from the savory bulgogi to the fresh and delicious sushi. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Whether you're in the mood for a some tasty salmon maki or a sizzling plate of bulgogi, this place has it all. It's become our go-to spot for family dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch Korean and Japanese food!
