Klosterstüberl — Restaurant in Fürstenfeldbruck

I came here with the International Team because my German colleagues invited us for a team dinner. And we have never been disappointed. The food was delicious and very appealing.

Also worthy of remark is the superb service; even when under duress (peak season - many visitors), the service was always friendly and responsive. Chapeau! We booked a reservation and got the next table because we intended to eat during the midday rush. So, if the weather is great and it's the weekend, you should do that if you want to sit outside. The menu had a very unusual design that was worth reading all the way through ("loose children get a double expresso and It was worth reading the entire menu because of its unusual layout ("lost children get a double expresso and a puppy" warning parents to be cautious;-) ). Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely amazing, so tasteful and delicious. The wait staff was extremely helpful and cheerful for us to be there. They helped us out with somewhere to eat even though everything was reserved for a later time. They asked if we would be okay if it would be just a bit over an hour for us to be able to stay and of course we we're okay with that as long as we we're able to stay and eat! The potato soup of the day was amazing, we ordered the daily special steak dish and was so amazing and the venison filets. The main course was just so great, my girlfriend and I kept eating off of each other's plates. Then we had a cream puff with vanilla and chocolate and that was great. Definitely better to share than have one for yourself, had to finish it all off with a coffee that was absolutely delicious as well. I would definitely recommend...

Ich bin immer wieder auf der Suche nach einem guten Wirtshaus in München und Umgebung und bin Ende August 2023 zufällig auf das Klosterstübel in Fürstenfeldbruck aufmerksam geworden.

Wir haben in der Nähe eine Ausstellung in einem Museum besucht, während gleich nebenan ein atmosphärischer und schöner Mittelaltermarkt stattfand. Plötzlich begann es zu regnen und so fanden wir "glücklicherweise" einen Tisch im "Klosterstüberl": Ein schönes und kleines Gasthaus, gemütlich und offensichtlich mit viel Geschichte - wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.

Ich durfte dort den bislang leckersten Schweinsbraten genießen, den ich je gegessen habe: Das Fleisch war zart und weich (nicht so trocken wie man es von einigen "Gasthäusern" kennt, wo der Schweinsbraten ewig lang nur noch warmgehalten wird und zu einer Schuhsohle austrocknet). Das besondere Highlight war dabei die hervorragende Bratensoße. Bei dieser schmeckte ich deutlich, dass hier nicht mit irgendwelchen fertigen Zusätzen gearbeitet wurde, sondern die Soße ganz frisch und gekonnt selbst zubereitet wurde. Die Soße schmeckt nicht nur im Augenblick hervorragend, sondern hinterlässt auch einen unglaublich leckeren Nachgeschmack, ein wunderbares sich entfaltendes Aroma im Mund.

Auch die Getränke (Spezi und Apfelschorle) wurden eiskalt und noch prickelnd serviert. Auch keine Selbstverständlichkeit - wie oft habe ich es schon erlebt, dass Getränke mit Zimmertemperatur und nur noch einen kleinen Rest an Kohlensäure gereicht werden. Hier waren auch die Getränke einwandfrei!

Meine Begleitung bestellte sich die "Spinatkäsespätzle" und war ebenfalls begeistert. Die Spätzle dufteten sehr lecker, schmeckten sehr gut und durften mit hinzugereichten Röstzwiebeln, Zwiebelsoße, Preiselbeeren und Frühlingszwiebeln nach Wunsch verfeinert werden. Ebenfalls sehr lecker!

Die Angestellten des Hauses waren allesamt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Ich freue mich auf ein Wiedersehen!

Kurzum: Es war eine wirklich überraschend positive Erfahrung und wir werden ganz sicher wieder einmal im Klosterstüberl in Fürstenfeldbruck einkehren! Vielen Dank für...
