Dino's Trinacria — Restaurant in Friesenheim

This is a great find, read the reviews and read between the lines. Once there, and just seeing how busy it was, told me a lot.

The room was Ideal for a Solo traveler (there were couples, families and groups whilst I was there) clean with a shower that's me sorted. Oh and cheap .... Happy days

Perfect location for Black Forest Motorbiking as it's at the edge of the halfway point of the forest, ideal for exploring both North and then South if you're spending a week or so. You will have to speak to them about secure bike parking as I was ok with a chain and 2 alarms, at the back of the car park out out sight. No issues at all while I was there. Plus it's local to Euro Park, if you're with the family... Mr GS, pleasure to meet you my fellow biker. The host Anita was soooo accommodating, not sure if I actually met, spoke via email due to me being a up and out at the crack of dawn kinna guy ( probably met in passing 😉).

If your lucky and you get to hear a band playing near by ... Be sure to investigate you won't be disappointed.

And yes they do have breakfast but I get it on the go so not I've not experienced that, although I was asked what time I wanted breakfast at .... Sooo accommodating 🤗

So by far one of the worst hotel I know. But let me start with good points first. The hotel is big and clean, more like a transient house. They give chocolates and candies for compliments. €86 for one night for 3 people, not bad. However, we got troubles for this hotel. First, we waited 30 mins out in the cold for someone to open the hotel's door even we called 3x to confirm we have a reservation, they speak English so I know they did understand me. At night, you will hear footsteps and the sound from the next room which is understamdable because it's an old wood house,fine! But the toilet and douche is for petite person only LOCATED OUTSIDE/SEPARATED in the room,not indicated in the web. We asked for 1 queen bed and single bed BUT we got 3 single bed. We were too tired to complain that night and nobody answered in the reception we just found a way to stick the bed together. We paid 2x because they said booking.com did not comfirm the payment when infact it is already paid.. In short, we didn't like this hotel and so much trouble and it's sooo Noisy THAT I CAN'T SLEEP ENOUGH BECAUSE OF THE FOOTSTEPS I HEAR OUTSIDE BY THE PEOPLE GOING TO THE TOILET DURING THE NIGHT! seriously! But thanks for opening the door...
