The veal liver on the grill was simply phenomenal – it instantly transported me back to my Dalmatian roots with its aroma and authentic flavor. The perfectly roasted potatoes (Bratkartoffeln) beautifully tied the experience together, creating a wonderful culinary bridge between Germany and Croatia. It was a nostalgic journey on a plate, and every bite reminded me why traditional flavors, when prepared with such mastery, can be truly unforgettable. Of course, food of this level would not shine as brightly without the warm, heartfelt service. The staff here elevate the entire experience – attentive, genuine, and always with a smile. Their hospitality is a rare treasure, and it transforms a great meal into a memorable occasion. Lastly, I stayed in the family-run hotel above the restaurant. With only a handful of rooms (4–5), it offers a truly cozy and homely atmosphere. Spotless rooms, incredible warmth from the hosts, and a feeling of genuine care made even my most exhausting day feel as light as a snowflake. In short – fantastic food, fantastic people, and a fantastic stay. A place where nostalgia, culture, and hospitality come together perfectly. Firm 2.5 Star "Been there, Done that. Don't want the T-Shirt"

Perhaps my expectations were too high for this place or maybe I expected more for the cost, in fact I think it was a combination of both the led me to conclude that this place is a firm 2.5 star. Let's start with the Pros: friendly staff, comfortable setting, the place looks pretty good. Cons: the setting is comparable to many other restaurants. However, the service was slow, the price was relatively expensive, when compared to other places of similar or even better quality; finally, we were truly disappointed on the flavors (or lack of flavor), especially the rice which was far too andante, runny, and tasteless. Perhaps they had a bad night or new kitchen staff. Whatever the reason, it cost me the same in time and money. In fact, I typically pack my leftovers for lunch the next day. I gladly allowed this leftover at the restaurant to be disposed. As for others who were with me, the feeling is mutual. Try it if you want to say "Been there, Done that". You can...

My husband and I came here on a date a few weeks ago and were really impressed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our meals came with the salad bar, and although it was a small selection at the salad bar, the house dressing was delicious and all the ingredients looked fresh and tasty.

The main courses were delicious! Perfectly seasoned, hot, and the meat was tender and moist. Dalmacuija's rice was very tasty and the fries were perfectly cooked.

The whole place was very clean and modern, being just recently renovated. There is a nice area to eat outside, and even a small hotel upstairs.
