Hotel-Restaurant Bullerdieck — Restaurant in Garbsen

I booked a stay here with my son. I had changed my booking at the last moment as my son also decided to come with me on this trip. I could not change it on hotels.com so I had called them to ask if it was ok. It was not a problem. They warned me that desk personnel was available until 21:00.

They have quite some parking space but it was full because of a wedding. There was one spot free for electric cars but I decided not to park there as my car was fully charged.

At the desk it seemed that they had a few unnecessary steps but the woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and clean, just like the bathroom.

We decided to eat in in their outside restaurant. The guy where I ordered understood me perfectly even though my German is so so. I can recommend the Schnitzel with Bratkartoffeln because of the delicious mushroom + sauce they serve with it. My son, who does not like them normally, heard me praise them and decided to taste 1. After that he emptied the whole bowl on his plate.

The room was a bit warm (we had had a whole day of 24 degrees Celsius). There was no aircon, but we could open de windows and that helped a lot. The beds were quite hard so I was a bit worried but the next day my back felt really good so I can only say they must be good quality.

The breakfast was really good. Both quality and the selection. We could eat outside (in another garden). Again the personnel was helpful and friendly.

All in all I am very happy that I did not get a hotel in Hannover but decided...

I've been coming to this hotel regularly (unfortunately only yearly) for the last for the last ten years or so. It would be unfair to say that the quality was very good each time. The quality was always "good" however the staff have improved the experience in nuanced each year. Friendly and helpful always - regardless of their job. Compliments to all involved.||The rooms are large, light and airy. Very well appointed and very well tended.||Reception very friendly, efficient and accommodating. ||The breakfast is excellent and the staff here very friendly and accommodating - even when we on one occasion asked for breakfast 45 minutes earlier. No problem and as friendly as ever.||We have eaten outside in the even - but mostly in the restaurant. As ever friendly and helpful staff, food quality is excellent. Good variety on the menu plus local or seasonal and local ware.||When we are in the area, this is always the destination. If anything - the only "problem" would be that the hotel is now too well known - which means that you may not find a space to park! However the food and drinks in the restaurant are well worth the walk if you have to park...
