Stepbergalm — Restaurant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We spent the morning hiking up based on the great reviews, only to find the restaurant shut despite a sign outside stating it is open Tuesday to Saturday (also started on the website, open from 20th May). Weather was sunny and partly cloudy. Slightly cold at the hut but no heavy rain. It was very disappointing as it would have been lovely to sit out for a bite and a hot drink.
