I heard about their famous Galloway beef dishes and i just had to taste it. The restaurant looks traditional,very nice for my taste, Serving was flawless Now the food...well... in the menu it's specified to be cooked medium but i asked for medium-rare. The result was a very nice cut of meat cooked half medium-half well done. All too salty and full of other spices that don't allow you to taste the meat anymore. The pommes were not fresh but frozen. Wir hatten reserviert und waren das erste Mal da, aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen. Wir haben zwei verschiedene Burger bestellt und zwei Getränke. Bei der Bestellung wurden wir gefragt, wie denn der Gargrad der Burger Patty's sein soll. Das war aber gar nicht notwendig, denn die Patty's waren knochentrocken und hart und kaum zu Schneiden. Die waren weder medium noch frisch zubereitet und auch der Käse lief nicht, sondern pappte an den trockenen Patty's. Die Burger war geschmacklich nicht gut und auch nicht qualitativ hochwertig. Die Pommes waren auch nicht die dicken Fritten, wie auf den Fotos, sondern billige Wellenschliff-Pommes, ungewürzt. Auf dem Tisch stand auch kein Salz zum selber würzen. Als wir die Rechnung beglichen haben, gab ich noch 5,00 € Trinkgeld, weil die Bedienung nett und freundlich war, da war ich aber noch nicht so schlau wie hinterher. Kurz vor dem Gehen warfen wir noch einen Blick auf den Rechnungsbeleg und stellten fest, dass uns 4 Getränke berechnet wurden statt zwei. Nach meiner Reklamation bekamen wir 7,80 € zurück und die letzten 0,20 € wurden in einzelnen Centstücken aus dem Geldbeutel geklaubt und uns ohne Entschuldigung gegeben. Da gehen wir definitiv nicht wieder hin und von uns ein klares Nein zur Weiterempfehlung.
