Kentucky Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Geiselwind

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. I wanted a bacon & cheese twister and I got a BBQ twister instead, a mistake caused by a language barrier which is understandable, the cashier lady tried her best as I asked her to speak English. However the most expensive burger (bacon and cheese double burger) was not good at all. It was overly salty and the longer you eat, the worse it gets and the worse you feel afterwards. Despite shared efforts, we couldn't finish the food as it quickly turned unappealing. Fries were good, fresh. Cleaning service went into the toilets, signed her name on the board, didn't even check on the stalls and left. Overall not a KFC experience I was expecting. Not up to KFC...

Horrible food. Absolutely cold and dry. I don't know if the "original" pieces are so small because they are dried up or due to economical reasons, but they are also very expensive now - 3-er box is not sufficient even as a light snack while it costs as a complex lunch :( KFC was always the best of all the fast food, but now it is simply too expensive with too bad food :( Hopefully once KFC regains its good name. But for now I'd strongly recommend avoiding...

Eigentlich konsumieren wir fast nie sogenannte Fastfoodangebote. Sind also definitiv keine Profis in diesem Level kulinarischer Köstlichkeiten. Aber man ist auf der Durchreise und bereits 100erte Kilometer unterwegs. Folglich hält man mal an und lässt sich, ohne jede Erwartungshaltung, überraschen was man da vorfindet. Und ich muss sagen, wir wurden positiv überrascht! Kross gebackene Hühnerteile mit ein paar knackige Pommes, wirklich lecker. Trinken so viel man will (Getränke darf man sich kostenlos nachfüllen), das kann was. Und als Gast darf man auch noch die Toilette benutzen ohne extra zu zahlen. Wie in guten alten Zeiten. Das hat mich beeindruckt und hebt von allen anderen Betrieben entlang der Autobahn ab! Denn! Was muss der Mensch am meisten, wenn er stundenlang im Auto unterwegs ist? Ja genau, und dies kostenlos zu ermöglich, das nenne ich Service auf einer Raststation. Das Ambiente ist mir eher gleichgültig. Ich wollte nur Rast machen und kein Candellight Dinner absolvieren. Kinder können ein bisschen im üblichen Kletterturm kraxeln und sonst wirkt alles sehr sauber und das Personal ist professionell freundlich.
