We wanted a place to have a simple Swabian dinner with our family and lots of places in the area offer this. I took my family here because it sounded really nice, it’s both a restaurant and a place that has a stage for bands playing on weekend evenings. And it has a lot of good reviews! Well, here’s another one… We parked in a bay on the main road and arrived at the Adler shortly after it opened. It’s a really pleasant room, very airy and with a nice decor, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Not long after we arrived quite a few of the tables were taken, mainly families with kids and grand parents. The food is nice, we had the standard fare of Schnitzel and Maultaschen and Käsespätzle and were very happy with our choices, there’s also steak (Zwiebelrostbraten), Braten and salads. Nette kleine Gaststätte mit Bühne für gelegentliche rockige oder bluesige Konzerte, Theateraufführungen, Lesungen, Reisevorträge und Podiumsdiskussionen, in einem kleinen Ort, der von der Landwirtschaft geprägt ist und häufig auch so duftet. Es gibt einen schönen kleinen Innenhof, ebenfalls mit kleiner Bühne und Lagerfeuer-Platz. Getränke und Speisen sind in gut und das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung stimmt. Sehr persönliches, freundliches Personal. Unseres Wissens hat das Lokal am Montag u. Dienstag (u. Mittwoch?) geschlossen. Es wird vom Förderverein Zukunft ADLER Meidelstetten e.V....
