Amandînes et Chocolats — Restaurant in Grünwald

There are 3 shops with the same name but this is the original one that is still run by the same French couple. The croissant and pain au chocolat here are good, particularly if you’re here early in the morning when they are still a tad warm. Their eclairs and coffee ain’t bad too. The service is warm and friendly, just like how your neighbourhood boulangerie should be (albeit Grünwald isn’t exactly your typical...

I believe those are real french croissants with much finer dough as of german ones.

One should reserve some amount of croissants, because they are sold out quite fast. Or be there early enough, say 8 o'clock? Eclairs are very tasty. French cheese pastry is too sweet.

We did not check amandines yet.

It is quite difficult to find a parking place - true for all...

I do not understand why it is not just possible to leave the minimum number of tables to keep the distance and not give the wrong impression of the tables available for sitting.

Disappointed with the coffee also which was too hot and croissants were underbaked. Maybe it was just a bad day for the place, do not know, was there for the first time and by the reviews here...
