I was going to give this hotel a great review when I arrived there and saw how nice everything looks. But then I tried to sleep there. The hotel is right next to the town church. The church bells ring every hour (3 times the number of the hour, so 7 O'clock gets 21 rings. This in itself is a charming European thing that I do not mind at all, but the fact that the rooms do not have air conditioning and you need to sleep with the windows open for it to not become a sauna inside, means that you hear church bells ring all night long (yes, also in the middle of the night) plus at 15 minute intervals between the hour. So the result is that although everything else at this hotel was really nice, I did not have a good nights rest and had to face a work day with hardly any sleep. ||On the plus side, I can say that the rooms are massive and so extremely spacious as I have not seen anywhere else in Europe. It is clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast could have a better selection, had only the basics. The staff was friendly and the wifi...

I booked the room for the weekend, a month before arriving. We checked in after 5pm. The room was clean and spacious. It wasn't heated when we got in, so we could set the temperature ourselves.

The bed was big and comfortably hard. The bed linen was 100% cotton. The have a big pillow and a smaller pillow, which was perfect to sleep.

The bathroom was spacious. A shower towel and a hand towel are provided, as well as a hair dryer. The soap/shampoo smells nice.

We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious downstairs.

The breakfast includes a selection of cheese and sausage, hard boiled egg, scrambled egg, fruit, muesli and delicious bread roll.
