Rangoli — Restaurant in GVV Dreisamtal

This is a restaurant that we went coincidentally 1.5 years back. We had reached Black Forest at 9.15pm and tried to reach out to restaurants and they were closed. We called this restaurant and were asked to come over without reservation at 9.30pm and the restaurant closes at 10pm. We reached at 9.45 and were welcomed wholeheartedly. We went there everyday for dinner after a hectic days trip and enjoyed the ultra delicious Indian food. One more experience on a different day, someone in the group wanted a little more rice, the kitchen was closed, but they cooked a fresh batch for us. The manager, Vicky, is such an amazing asset and I will say that he is a prime example from a very generous community in India, who are known for their bravery and for having a big heart. We visited this place again yesterday with parents visiting us. They loved the food. The place is still just as positive and Vicky still runs the place. We visited this place the 2 days that we stayed there. I don't know how I missed out on writing a review the first time we visited. I m glad that I didn't write it back then, cse I got to share the followup review here as well. Very few Indian restaurants show consistency and I am glad this place is still the same at heart. Disappointed!!again eating Indian food in Germany!!,doesn't matter where you go here ,the best curry house are in the UK, period!!,. Tikka masala,was plain,no taste,biryani same,biryani sauce and tikka masala sauce,was the same sauce,mango lassi,large!!was the smallest glass in the world, my girlfriend liked the naan!!😎,that's about it..the waitress was in such a rush to get rid of us after we paid, that we felt not welcome..overall, if you want curry in Germany,cook it...

The food was fantastic. We got 4 different curries and they were all terrific. The ingredients tasted fresh and homemade. The curries all included generous portions of rice. We also had the lassis that were super refreshing and not too sweet. The service was fast and friendly. And the price was really reasonable. We stayed on the terrace with our dog and it was really peaceful in the garden.

10/10, whenever we go back to Titisee, we’ll stop here for...
