We were so pleased to find such a superb menu in this small mountain town. Chef Klaus offers excellent local, Schwaben, dishes and favorites too. We started with Marksklasse soup, the broth was hearty, but not heavy, the dumplings flavorful and not too dense. I enjoyed the Weiner Schnitzel prepared perfectly. My son had short ribs of wild boar, in a red wine sauce that was amazing. They offer two types of bratwurst; weisse and rot, I tried them both, the rot was especially good. Arrange for a ride home and enjoy some of the Schnapps of master distiller Martin Sauter, father of the chef; a perfect end to a real Schwaben experience.
