Winzerhof S. Kerber — Restaurant in GVV Staufen-Münstertal

A really nice restaurant in a lovely setting just outside Staufen. Doubtful any but locals know of this hideaway (except, of course, for Google maps!) - there's no sign off the L125. Yet the place is very popular and sometimes difficult to get a table. You can reserve in advance though, by telephone. The menu is not extensive and is mostly regional favourites. There's always a special or two. It's all very good food. Prices are normal and the service attentive and appropriate. “Great place for eating (especially in Summer)” This restaurant is open from April until end of October (I suppose). It's placed in a very nice surrounding with an excellent possibility to sit and eat outside. The food is good and not too fat which is sometimes a problem with this kind of local restaurants. They serve typical local food + some day special which is normally a bit more sophisticated.

The staff is friendly and fast. Normally there is no problem with moving a table or whatever.

Erster Eindruck war aufgrund der vielen Autos auf dem Parkplatz, dass sich hier offensichtlich eine gute Wirtschaft befindet. Die Bedienung war hier sicherlich sehr bemüht alles gut zu machen, jedoch war hier bei der Organisation dann doch alles etwas zuviel. So hatten wir unter anderem 2 Elsässer Wurstsalate bestellt, die dann allerdings ohne Brot geliefert wurden. Ich nahm an, dass dies hier kein Brot dazu gehöre. Als dann aber am Nachbartisch das gleiche Gericht mit Brot ausgeliefert wurde, sprach ich später die Bedienung freundlich darauf an. Beim Bezahlvorgang bekam ich zur Antwort, dass ich mich längst dazu hätte melden müssen. Woher jedoch sollte ich wissen was zu dem Gericht gehörte? So etwas weiss die Bedienung doch besser als ich. Nun, so können, wenn man es will, ein paar fehlende Scheiben Brot traurig machen oder aber auch ganz einfach nur aufzeigen, wie egal einer Mitarbeiterin ein Kunde ist. Egal, wir sehen uns ja...
