We went after hearing great reviews for the Chicken Biryani. It did not disappoint. Not the traditional biryani you would expect with Basmati rice, but it was definitely easier to finish off. Not too heavy and the chicken was cooked just right. Dishes we tried here already: Pepper Mutton (cannot recall the exact name): was pretty spicy for us, but very tasty Chicken biryani: too good, we went back again for it Mutton biryani: the meat wasn’t cooked through, was difficult to eat it. I prefer the chicken biryani to this one. Naan: just ok, nothing too fancy Butter chicken: quite good, a little too sweet for my taste, but tasted just like the ones we get back at home Buttermilk: I highly recommend it!! Cocktails with fruit juices: we couldn’t try the watermelon one, but lemon was pretty good too Kulfi: We would’ve enjoyed it more if the kulfi was left outside the freezer for a few minutes before serving. Was delicious, nonetheless. The hand-painted bar and the ambience was pleasantly surprising. The service is good. There are about 7-8 parking spots, we haven’t faced any issues with it yet. I highly recommend this place!

It's been close to 5 years since I moved to Munich and i was craving for typical south Indian food and honestly this is the best restaurant. The restaurant is small but very clean and nice. If the food is great size of the restaurant doesn't really matter to me. Anna is like girl next door. Such a nice person. Andrew was the one who attended when we visited first and he suggested us to try the chilli chicken and pot biriyani. We visited the restaurant already 5 times in 2 weeks.. Tried their chicken 65, chilli chicken, Pot biriyani, Thalapakatti biriyani, Kerala chicken curry, mutton roast and Parotta and I am so in love with this restaurant and the food. Oh yes the Kerala meals on weekend was adipoli.. It was like proper home cooked food with fish fry, sambar, kootu, pappadam.. Watermelon Kulukki and coconut Kulukki are my favourites too.. I am yet to try the dosas.. In my list already!! To Non-Indians: If you want to try some authentic south Indian style food this is the best restaurant. Other restaurants are too much of germanized version with cream and butter is what I feel.

We had pre-ordered the specials thalassery biriyani and pazham pori (banana fritters) for a group of 7 members as a part of my treat to complete masters degree in aerospace engineering from Technical University of Munich. The owner Anna Maria was courteous and allowed slight adjustment in the orders ,since our numbers were abrupt and differed. We informed her 20 minutes prior to our arrival and received perfectly packed warm meals. We had a 3-4minute wait wherein we enjoyed the well lit ambience, equipped with great antique adornments and well designed furniture. Although I was slightly disappointed when the similar priced biriyani rice and the chicken biriyani , she gave me a rebate on the chickpea curry. The Banana fritters and the biriyani received rave reviews from my German friends citing the fritters to be exceptional. The only downside I felt was that the place was far in the outskirts for me.Definitely a hub to explore authentic kerala cuisine.

I’m currently new in Germany and have been craving good South Indian food. I researched a lot regarding many different restaurants when I got to know about Methi which had really great reviews, so I decided to try it out. The only problem was I live in Heidelberg. I decided to travel all the way to Munich and guess what it was totally worth it. It’s not a fancy restaurant which I liked. They have maintained the traditional Indian decor with has a great vibe to it. I ordered the Mutton Pepper, which blew my mind. They got me typical Kerala Parotta. The combo was heavenly. I was suprised they served goat meat because in the region I reside they generally have lamb. By the way they do have dishes made of lamb meat. The spices on the Mutton was top notch. Andrew who is one of the partners of the restaurant is a great host. He took his time and recommended and explained the different beers they have. I loved the food so much I did a takeout since I know I would be hungry once I reach back home in Heidelberg. I was worried what if I make such a long trip for Indian food and if it wasn’t upto the mark? But I can definitely tell the food exceed my expectations. I wished I lived closer. Hopefully I will try back there for Onam as I would want to try their sadhya. Long story short The place is a 5/5 The host is definitely a 5/5 The food hands down a 10/5
