Brauhaus am Kreuzberg — Restaurant in Hallerndorf

Awesome family place with a variety of playground for different aged children. Biergarten with tons of tables, each seating up to 10 people, covered with huge sun-umbrellas. Self service counter to order many local specialties, such as Schweinehaxen and Scheufele with Knödel & Sauerkraut. Also serves salads, pizzas and child friendly items like Schweineschnitzel with French Fries (pommes frites). Wide variety of desserts: ice creams, cakes, etc. and of course the beers brewed in house, served from the tap. Also has many different beverages to satisfy everyone. Though this is my least favorite of the Kreuzberg Bierkellers, it's still a top place and for many, the main reason for heading this way. They do everything well and have the largest selection of beers on the Kreuzberg but I just find it a bit big and somehow overdone compared to the other homier Kellers. You can't very well come all this way and not have at least one or two of their beers and believe me, the food is surely excellent but for my money, I like sitting in the nearby Bierkellers,...

The beer and schnapps alone are worth a trip!

The food was also amazing and I would have probably expected it to cost twice as much. The atmosphere is always friendly, and even when there's big events going on, like three weddings in one day, you can always find a place to sit down and you'll still get your meal quicker than in almost any restaurant.
