MiO.Bar.Bistro — Restaurant in Hude (Oldenburg)

As an American…I personally love a good ole hamburger with the basic pickles, lettuce, onions, tomato, etc. NOW it’s not my favorite food but when it’s there I’ll gladly eat it. The dining experience I had at MIO changed my outlook forever. The pretzel bun was soft but toasted to absolute perfection. The patty itself seasoned nothing but exquisitely and cooked to perfection. Utterly amazing. The greens(pickles and lettuce) , almost like they were picked from a garden were were crunchy, fresh, and far from soggy although the burger was juicy and far from overcooked. Beautiful. There were also fried onions on it not too greasy nor soggy and gross, and as an American I love my fried food. So you can imagine how happy I was when I found the perfectly cooked not to crunchy not to soft hash browns inside they were delicious. I’m not sure what they put in that house made sauce but it’s absolutely divine. Not the standard 1000 island dressing you get at in-n-out. Overall I was a happy man eating this burger and I recommend any burger lover on vacation in Germany who can find a MIO goes to enjoy their positive polite staff, the wonderful decoration and atmosphere, and ofc...

Wir waren gestern auf einer geschlossenen Feier, die das Mio ausgerichtet hat. Das wurde vom Team top organisiert und war rundum gelungen. Die herrliche Terrasse bot grosszügig Platz unter einem Sonnendach. Auf den Tischen lagen für das Event erstellte Getränkekarten und als Info was als Fingerfood/Speisen gereicht wurde. Feta-Melonen-Spiesse, Mini Bürger, Falaffeln, Garnelenspiesse und vieles mehr wurden am Tisch gereicht und verwöhnten vom Veganer bis hin zum Fleischesser jeden Gast. Die Bedienung war außerordentlich flott und dabei noch freundlich. Wir werden gerne in Zukunft auf eine Gläschen und etwas Leckeres vorbei kommen.
