A very nice and comfortable experience. the restaurant is in an old barn giving it a pleasant atmosphere. It's warm, it smells like good food and it decorated in traditional Bavarian style. The servers were very very nice and humorous cracking jokes. The seating was comfortable too. Also, the food was delicious, just what you want from a traditional Bavarian cuisine. Everything was good, warm and comforting. Overall a very nice vibe. It almost feels like you're in a traditional Bierzelt in the Oktoberfest, just without the jumping and throwing up. Abends dort gegessen, ca. 20 Uhr, Donnerstags. Bratspätzle-Suppe sehr gut, Zanderfilet ebenfalls, wenn auch am Ende trotz leckerer Soße ziemlich trocken. Salzkartoffeln dazu super und auf den Punkt gegart. Nachspeise: "Kaiserschmarrn". Absolutes NoGo! Kam innerhalb von 10 Minuten lauwarm. Gleichmäßige rechteckige Stücke, ca. 6x3 cm, durchgehend gleiche Dicke, ca. 0.5 cm. Leicht angebräunt, und schnittfest wie eingedickter Griespudding. Mit Apfelkompott, das war lecker. Hab die Hälfte vom Schmarrn gegessen. Die wirklich sehr freundliche Bedienung kam und hat sich gewundert. Ich sagte, das ist alles Mögliche, aber ganz sicher kein Kaiserschmarrn. Trotzdem würde ich es zahlen, schließlich bin ich satt geworden. Ok, das wäre ganz sicher Kaiserschmarrn, aber so einen fluffigen wie am Berg auf einer Hütte könne ich jetzt nicht erwarten! Doch, kann ich. Ok, sie fragt in der Küche nochmal nach. Ergebnis: Sie hätten abends ein ziemlich hohes Gästeaufkommen und sehr hohen Durchgang. Der Kaiserschmarrn wird daher vorbereitet und dann vom Blech in Teile geschnitten und serviert. Da könne es durchaus sein, wenn er länger liegt, dass er "natürlich" eindicken könnte. Die Küche teilt mir aber mit, dass ich den Kaiserschmarrn nicht zu bezahlen hätte. Super! Leute! Dann streiche ich das Gericht halt abends von der Karte, wenn ich es nicht frisch auf den Teller bekommen kann! Egal. War mein letzter Besuch dort. Es war in Ordnung, das "Gericht" nicht zahlen zu müssen, da die Qualität mies war, die Dame war durchgehend freundlich, aber sowas geht halt einfach nicht. Da fragt man sich dann schon: Was ist noch alles "nur eben aufgewärmt", anstatt frisch zubereitet?
