McDonald's — Restaurant in Kaiserslautern

In March of 2017 this location reopened after a remodel of the kitchen and the type of (table) service offered.

Cannot tell for sure, but service does not seen up to snuff from what it was before the remodel. It may not be quite half speed since I use to pick up napkins and fill my own drinks – something to do while waiting for the food to be collected and trayed may have given me purpose. Now you take an electronic finder token to your table and “wait” for the food and drinks to be delivered. A very different experience and perhaps it is impossible to compare the perceptions.

Now, if the service was not so different there is no longer the self serve soft drink fountain and ICE machine or WIFI.

All this is too bad, as I considered this one of the best McDonalds I had ever visited State side or in Europe. Stars are reduced from five to two for the following reasons: -1 Star for the slow or change of method of service; -1 Star for the soft drink and ice machine being discontinued; -1 Star for not having WIFI, this must be the only McDonalds location in Deutschland without WIFI.

The only very good thing I can say about the remodel is the double storm entry door is gone.

The only Mc Donalds we always have trouble. I wonder why we came back this often. One time we ordered a Breakfast burger through the drive in as we were in a rush to get to a appointment further away. instead i drove back 10 minutes later to complain about my burger as it fell apart and looked like someone had stepped or sat on it.it was gross. ( not the first time) i had to wait 20 minutes for a new burger. the employees are unfriendly and uneducated. they dont speak good english or german and are very rude. you always wait forever for your food. they dont take their own coupons and always claim to have ran out of products, toys and the glasses or the monopoly game stickers. suggestion...closing it would be easier honestly. they dont do their job and it doesnt seem like they want to be there anyway. been wanting to leave this comment for a while but kept seeing the good in...

The workers are nice at the drive thru, but seem overworked inside. One day I waited for an order for 15-30 minutes and they didn’t call my food that had just been sitting there so I waited for someone in order to get their attention but they seemed pre occupied with other things so I just grabbed my food. Came back inside because the sauce I needed wasn’t in there then left not realizing that I also hadn’t received the water I paid for. Also the fries are cold EVERY time I go I rarely ever get warm fries from here. The food cost too much to not get high quality food and to not receive the items you pay for. My mother also told me about a day that she went there & bought a long chicken sandwich late one night at the drive thru, drove home & there was absolutely no chicken patty in between the bun.. what….Nice location, but just has a lot...
