Ocak Basi Grillhaus — Restaurant in Kehl

We ordered dinner for 2 plus drinks, we requested a glass of water they brought a bottle of mineral water, we asked to return it and bring tap water, they refused and said we don't serve tap water....

This is very weird they don't mind to lose a customer forever for such cheap behavior, our bill was 42 EURO and they just wanted us to pay extra few Euros just to buy an unnecessary bottle of water instead of being generous with the customer and satisfy them to make them comeback and recommend the restaurant to other potential customer.

I've been to many restaurants in different countries where when I ask for water the waiter ask me if I need tap water or bottle "which is very normal in the countries where their tap water is drinkable".

Regarding food mix grill was OK, but pide kiyma...

The soups are excellent, both Iskembe and mercimek corba. Adana kebap was OK but salty. The deserts we ordered, baklava was soggy and made with glikoz and the kunefe was better in taste, but was soggy as well. We also ordered lahmacun which was disappointing. Spent 70 euro here, which was too much for such a below grade...

Super food! We really enjoyed the food here. Huge portions and top quality food. The service was excellent as well. The only thing that wasn’t great was the music was quite loud—could hardly hear each other when talking. It was eventually turned down though. I’d absolutely go back....
