There comes a time when traveling becomes a blur and one seeks solace. Well it is here!! I have journeyed far and wide and yet here in this small valley in Southern Germany I found perfection. Not only does it look ideal it is ideal. The location is superb. The owners considerate and friendly to a fault and the atmosphere both in the Gasthaus and outside is quite wonderful. The rooms are simple but clean, there is TV but who needs it. There is no WiFi and the hotel does not take Cards so cash is the order of the day. The owner is the Chef, the food is outstanding. Breakfast , fantastic, smoked salmon, freshly carved real meat, not the processed variety , everything quite wonderful. The silence around the place is so good you can almost feel it. Would I, will I return, absolutely the place is quite wonderful and everyone deserves to experience real hospitality at least once on...

Recently returned from 4 night break at beginning of February. Can't find any fault with this hotel no matter how hard I look. There was probably about 3 feet of snow which added to our enjoyment. On arrival we were met by the owner Hans who done everything he could to assist us with advice to ordering taxis for. I stayed in one of the appartments which I would recommend to anyone staying here. They would easily accommodate a couple or indeed 2 adults and 2 children. The view from the balcony was stunning. The quality of food was also very good and plenty of it. I went in a party of 6 males however I would have no hesitation in returning with my wife and young children.
