The rooms at Wildenburger Hof are comfortable and clean. Staff are exceptionally friendly and will accommodate guests in every way they can (but it helps to speak German). The locations is very remote, you are going to need a car. Also, the restaurant and bar are open on weekends only, which means that the hotel is very quiet during the week and you will have to travel at least 6 km for dinner. Considering the limited catering facilities during the week, it would have been nice to have tea & coffee making facilities and a mini bar or fridge in the room. ||||The area is beautiful - especially in the the autumn sun - and great for walking. There is ample information on the area and walks available (books and brochures) at the hotel, but it is in German. ||||Breakfast is generous and tasty. There is no buffet, but you book a time. Food in the restaurant is exceptional. Not cheap, but well worth it. Unser Besuch im Wildenburger Hof war eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir von dem überaus freundlichen Personal begrüßt, das uns den gesamten Abend über mit seiner herzlichen und professionellen Art betreut hat. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und einladend, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm machte.
Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Kinderfreundlichkeit des Wildenburger Hofs. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam gegenüber unseren Kindern und haben sich bemüht, ihnen einen ebenso schönen Abend zu bereiten wie uns. Es gibt eine spezielle Kinderspeisekarte, die liebevoll zusammengestellt wurde, sowie kleine Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Kindern große Freude bereiteten.
Das Essen im Wildenburger Hof ist ausgezeichnet und absolut empfehlenswert. Die Speisekarte bietet eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Gerichten, die mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet werden. Von herzhaften regionalen Spezialitäten bis hin zu internationalen Klassikern war alles hervorragend zubereitet und präsentiert. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen, die alle Erwartungen übertroffen haben.
