They just recently reopened and wow they did it with style! The outside tables are completely new and that goes for pretty much all of the outside area. The view and ambiance can't be beat but the great beer and food are a perfect pair. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their currywurst(prepared schieße scharf) and their Rote bratwurst with some Ayinger Braüweisse and a Campari Amalfi cocktail while relaxing with our dog. Will be back tomorrow to watch Germany vs Spain on their TVs outside!

Der Biergarten punktet mit moderner Atmosphäre, schöner Lage mit Blick aufs Wasser und einem wirklich vielfältigen Essensangebot: Von klassischen Pommes und Currywurst über Salat mit Ziegenkäse bis hin zum Steckerlfisch ist für jeden etwas dabei. Auch die Getränkekarte ist breit aufgestellt. Die Bestellung erfolgt getrennt – erst an der Kasse bestellen, dann etwas umständlich außen herum zur Ausgabe, um das Essen abzuholen. Das Personal war zwar freundlich, wirkte im Kassensystem aber noch unsicher. Ich musste meine Bestellung mehrfach wiederholen (2x Essen, 2x Getränke, keine Sonderwünsche) – und trotzdem wurde bei der Ausgabe ein Teil vergessen. Das Essen selbst war gut. Der Salat mit Ziegenkäse schmeckte frisch und abwechslungsreich. Dem Krustenbrot als Beilage fehlte allerdings die Kruste... Der Steckerlfisch für 16,50€ war gut gewürzt und schön saftig. Eine kleine Beilage wie z. B. eine Breze wäre hier aber noch toll gewesen. Unter großen Schirmen sitzt man angenehm im Schatten mit schöner Aussicht auf den See. Die Toiletten waren bei unserem Besuch sauber. Preislich liegt man mit knapp 48 € für zwei Hauptgerichte und zwei alkoholische Getränken eher im gehobenen Bereich – für einen Selbstbedienungsbiergarten am See, mit (noch) unsicherem Personal dann doch etwas teurer als erwartet...

Heute zum ersten mal die neue Gastronomie am See gesehen und gleich mal getestet! Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränke ist ausreichend für eine Gastro am See. Die Bedienung sehr nett und freundlich! Die neuen und zusätzliche Sitzgelegenheiten aus Holz sind ausreichend vorhanden! Großer Pluspunkt man kann mit Karte zahlen. Die Qualität der verzehrten Speisen war sehr gut aber der Preis für einzelne Produkte eindeutig zu teuer! Wir hatten einen Schweizer Wurstsalat (10.90), Obazda (9,80), Breze (2,10) und Kartoffelsalat (4,50) sowie ein Radler (4,50) und Russen (4,70)! Die Getränke waren für meine Verhältnisse nicht gut gemischt, das Limo wurde mehr als die Hälfte eingeschenkt! Das Verhältnis von Menge und Preis bei Wurstsalat und Obazda stimmt nicht auch wenn eine Scheibe Brot pro Produkt dabei ist! Zum Vergleich beim Almwirt, Haar habe ich die gleichen Preise für Wurstsalat und Obazda allerdings werde ich dort bedient, bekomme eine vollen Brotkorb und die Portion ist doppelt so groß! Der Biergarten wird von uns künftig nur auf die Getränke reduziert! Schade, aber jedes mal kann man sich das nicht leisten bzw. will ich es mir nicht leisten, wenn das Verhältnis nicht stimmt!

Such a disappointing experience. Usually we have had good service here. Today it was terrible.

1 hour wait for Currywurst, a sausage and a Ziege salad. We asked at 40 mins and 50 mins and were always told it would be done in 5 minutes.

The salad was different from what it usually looks like (we have photos of a full bowl salad) now we received a plate with half a portion.

No salt, no ketchup nothing. This is unusual. Staff clearly overwhelmed with the amount of orders even though it was half full at most.

If you can’t keep up with the orders then you should tell people to come back in half an hour and make the...

This place now has the appearance and design of a restaurant one finds at the Englishes Garten in the city. I had a coffee here yesterday and it was really excellent. A good coffee machine is absolutely essential and this place has it. The food looked quite good too. I didn't eat anything but I saw others with great looking burgers and fish that almost tempted me. We've been using this location for years, it has changes ownership a lot but I hope it stays this way for...
