Cafe am See — Restaurant in Kochel am See (VGem)

The best part was that the cafe is located right at the edge of lake with amazing views. One can definitely enjoy some beer during the summer.

The good part was that the staff is friendly and nice. They speak English as well!

We ordered pizza Margherita and a vegetarian pizza. The vegetarian pizza was definitely a frozen pizza from a supermarket! They didn't even reheat the pizza properly! if you are coming from Italy and want to experience something surreal and very unusual, then visit this café/restaurant the prices are astronomically high considering what you get (we paid 4 euros for a cappuccino from the machine) we didn't mind that the café is self-service, it's just unusual a plus point is definitely the beautiful view of the lake and the fact that it is the only one open is good for the café you will find a very unusual surprise in the toilets, see photo;) I will certainly not...

Unfortunately our experience in this Café was More than disappointing! The cheese platter was made out of the cheapest cheese from a discount supermarket and the „Leberkäse“ dish was simply old meat with poor quality. They serve non bavarian beer (Warsteiner) and this contributes to the overall bad customer experience as well.
