This is not a tourist destination. The Hotel Borchard is in the middle of a large and modern industrial complex at Lübbecke, in North Rhein Wesphalia, so it is for those whose business takes them into that specific business area and who need overnight accommodation.||The hotel has 26 bedrooms and is probably more a 'restaurant with rooms', for the bar and restaurant are huge and tend to be always busy with locals. It even has five lanes of tenpin bowling adjacent to the bar, which attract plenty of local youngsters and families.||The rooms are compact, but scrupulously clean and very functional, with everything you will need (except a kettle to make your own tea/coffee) and free wi-fi.....big hotel groups, notably the IHG Group, please take note: smaller hotels offer free wi-fi, so should you.||The restaurant is excellent which is probably why it is busy most nights. The food is plain, German and comes in gargantuan portions. The Bauernpfanne or 'Farmer's Pan', offers substantial cuts of beef, pork and smoked pork accompanied by lashings of Bearnaise sauce, lots of vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms and a fried egg on top. Seriously, it would be plenty for two people and comes for 14 euros! Even the most expensive dish on the menu, the Rinderfilet Special, a thick steak with baked potato, mushrooms and vegetables is huge and is still only 22 euros. ||The Borchard is therefore a place to stop over if you are on business and...

Alles in Allem besteht hier definitiv kein Wiederholungsbedarf.
