Trattoria Pizzeria al Ponte — Restaurant in Lübben (Spreewald)

Unfriendly attitude towards visitors. We wanted to eat during the day, the day was hot, people mostly was sitting outside and drinking beer or eating ice cream. We wanted to order pizza and some drinks for each one. We stood at the entrance for a minute, no one came out to us, there were several free tables, but they were all reserved, except one, so we came up to this empty table and wanted to sit down, but there were 2 chairs only, and since none of the waiters came to us, we began to take 2 more chairs ourselves. And this moment one guy who looked like a waiter came out, standing at the entrance and said “why didn’t you wait?” It's a very funny and comic situation, 1) clients are waiting at the entrance, but none of the waiters serve or doesn’t want to work ! 2) if the waiter sees that the clients are taking a table themselves, then maybe he should have come up and said hello and immediately taken the order, for example, “hello, would you like to order a drink? 3) we sat for a couple of minutes, but none of the waiters came to us!! So we got up and left. As soon as they left, the same waiter came up to the table and began to clean up 😂😂😂 Well done! The highest class of service in the city of Lübben.

During our 2-day trip, we tried a lot of restaurants in the area and we were extremely unhappy. Finally we found this place! Pastas and pizzas are delicious and fresh. Service is very fast. The place is clean and neat. Employees are friendly and super helpfully. Prices are very normal (around restaurants are super expensive). We couldn't drink a proper espresso for 2 days, even in places that say we are “coffee shops”. The espresso here was great!! The only place I can recommend!!! They were open today (Holy Friday) and the staff was really kind. We were there with our baby girl and they had kids chair. The food is generous and was delicious (we could easily share one pasta for 2). The foccacia was the best I ever tried, and the dough was just perfect! Ps: all that with really fair prices, especially considering the good location...
