Travelled all the way to Lüneburg from Hamburg to try this Sri-Lankan and Indian delicacy. The restaurant is so charming and the owners were so friendly. Their sri-Lankan style curry is a must try. Less options for vegetarians though.

Mitten im Industriegebiet, entzückt dieses kleine Restaurant. Ein Familienunternehmen, mit einer Reise in die Küche Sri Lankas. Wir waren heute zum Abendessen hier. Die vielen kleinen Lichtdetails, haben der Inneneinrichtung zusätzlichen Charme verleiht und es strahlen lassen. Blendet man das draußen aus und schaut sich nur innen um, fühlt man sich, als sei man im Urlaub. Eine echte Überraschung. Das Essen war lecker. Für jeden was dabei, von milden Gerichten bis hin zu scharf.

Die vielen kleinen Lichtdetails, haben der Inneneinrichtung zusätzlichen Charme verleiht und es strahlen lassen. Thanks for a very nice experience!

Let me just try to sum the restaurant experience up in a few words.

I remember it like this: The food i got tasted delicious.

The restaurant has a nice (chill) vibe - we were there, when it was dark outside.

Toilets looked pretty clean aswell.

The lady and the cook (who i think is the/one of the owner(s)) was very sweet - I'm not 100% sure if there is more than one lady who is serving, and one cook 🤷‍♂️

I got a bit disappointed getting to know (from my understanding) that they didn't have rotti (even though it was on the menu-card) - but the restaurant's overall look and the taste of the food i got kind of "compensated" for it, i...

Ein Tagesausflug in Sri Lanka auf deutschem Boden... Ist das möglich?! Ja, in Anandas Little Ceylon im schönen Lüneburg, wo die Heide blüht!

Authentisch, bodenständige Küche mit einer mannigfaltigen Präzision gut abgestimmter, pikanter Aromen trifft auf ein liebevoll eingerichtetes, exotisch anmutendes Ambiente mit einem sehr kompetenten, offenherzigen, aussagekräftigen Personal.

Wer seine Sinne kulinarisch "out of the box" kulturell weiterbilden und einfach vom schnelllebigen Alltag Abstand gewinnen möchte, ist hier mit der Liebsten, mit Bekannten, Freunden oder auch genügsam mit sich selbst in bester Gesellschaft für einen so nahen wie auch fernen Urlaub in der Küche Sri Lankas.

Ich bedanke mich für einen wundervollen Abend bei schöner Atmosphäre voller geschmacklicher Höhenflüge!

Meine Partnerin und ich werden wieder kommen.

Klein aber fein, liegt im Industriegebiet Goseburg, es gibt eine offene Show-Küche. Aufgrund der geringen Größe und 1 Koch für alle, dauert es lange, bis das Essen kommt. Daher ist der liebevoll ausgaltete kleine Gastronomiebetrieb besonders für Leute geeignet, die sich gern länger in Restaurants aufhalten, zb zum Schnacken. Von der Bestellung bis Essen sind etwas mehr als 1 Stunde vergangen (trotz Mittwoch waren nahezu alle Tische belegt). Bitte nicht mit extrem Hunger kommen, da es frisch zubereitet wird und eben dauert. Schön gestalteter Gastraum, besonders gut kommt das Ambiente im Dunkeln / abends zur Geltung.

Das Essen, Chicken Devilled, würzig und exotisch. Würde ich wieder...
