Restaurant Minoas — Restaurant in Landau-Land

I have been in various restaurants around the world and this includes Greek restaurants as well. Therefore my experience suggests me that this is not a friendly restaurant at all.

I understand that the waiters are tired maybe they had a tough day but you never treat a customer like that just like you did today! You cannot just throw the menu in front of us while we were waiting to be leaded to our table. We are not here to beg, we are here to pay and have a decent service.

Nicht wirklich gut. Definition 'Essbar' wäre schon ein Stern zuviel. Wie die Bewertung von 4,2 Sternen zusammenkommt erschliesst sich uns nicht. Wir waren mit 8 Personen zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen. Zwiebelsuppe, geschmacklich. - okkkaiiii, ja, sah so aus, roch ähnlich, schmeckte nicht wirklich. Und die Zwiebeln hatten den Kampf verloren, absolute Minderheit- Toast auf der Suppe gabs nicht, statt dessen waren geröstete Weissbrotstücke in der Suppe. Und eine Scheibletten Schmelzkäsescheibe in der Mitte des Tellers. Gebackener Schafskäse als andere Vorspeise war auch nicht der Hit, Mein 'Gyros- Salat' war Salat mit Giros. So hatte ich es erhofft. Leider bestand der Salat aus lieblos geschnetzeltem Kohl und etwas Salat und ein paar Peperonies und er war nur streng essigsauer. Gyros war relativ trocken, geschmacklich ok. Tzatziki war gut. Der Gyros Teller war mit Reis oder Pommes auch nicht besser. Filetsteak war trocken. Garpunkt vom Sehen her aber ok. Was immer da schief gegangen ist. So eine Art Mixed- Grillteller desgleichen. Fleisch trocken und geschmacklich auch nur so lala. Einzig, die Lammkoteletts waren wohl mit gut , zart und lecker zu bezeichnen. Das ergibt den 2. von mir vergebenen Stern. Die Kellnerin hatte einen sehr harschen Ton. Wie mein 95 jähriger Vater gesagt hätte: Wie beim Komiss! Allerdings konnte sie auch lachen. Nett war es, dass das Geburtstagskind zum Schluss eine Flasche Wein geschenkt bekam. Hesitated to come here first, cause 4,2 stars is quite average for a Greek restaurant. But haven eaten here today definitely proved this a class a restaurant. The Greek food is simply perfect. Every dish is made to perfection and tastes wonderful and fresh. Definitely one of my top 3 Greek restaurants. I didn’t reserve a table, but they fit me in a corner and I was served pretty quickly.
