The food and the atmosphere are pretty good, but the service was terrible and disappointing! Almost two hours before closing they refused to serve dessert and anymore drinks, didn't explain anything politely - more demanded to be paid while we were still enjoying our dinner - and were counting the register in front of all the customers that were still eating and trying to enjoy their dinners, just like us. It's just quite unprofessional and closing time wasn't even close. We were disappointed, as we know the place is popular and waited three nights til they have a free reservation, so were curious what the noise is about, as well wanted to enjoy a nice family time. We were sitting outside and during our meal they started closing umbrellas and putting everything away. Wouldn't come back, even though there are not many other places to go to in the centre of Lenggries, better to eat in the hotels by the church - the service there is...

What a beautiful place!

There are places where you immediately feel almost at home, the food is excellent and the service is very friendly.

We would have loved to have had another Helles or two Weissbier here, but we still had to drive on.

The location is popular with locals as well as hikers, cyclists, etc.

If you're in Lenggries, go here. The pub has an open oven on which meaty delicacies are grilled.

The prices are ok, the toilets are clean and tidy and the team here goes out of their way to impress guests of all ages.
