New review (1 star): Unacceptable host behavior! He totally snapped at us when my gf commented on how expensive the region is in general. He got extremely offended and almost talked himself into a rage while we were just standing in front of him silently.

Unfortunately, his behavior seems not to have been an exception. A former reviewer commented on a terrible reaction of the cafe to a request for normal milk in the coffee... I believe strongly that this comment also refers to the owner rather than an employee. In their response, the host acts as if this employee got into trouble about his behavior back then. However, the man I am talking about, talked as if he is the owner and is clearly listed as the owner on airbnb. I find this comment necessary, so that he cannot pretend it was an issue with an employee!

Kojenhus is a truly unique place: comfortable and affordable rooms, handmade amenities (like ab fab outdoor showers), their own café with proper coffee and fantastic homemade cakes which are baked daily next to the rooms for all guests to get high on the scents coming from the kitchen. Wir hatten uns in größerer Gruppe (7) ein paar Tage "Rad fahren" und "Insel gucken" vorgenommen. Dafür war diese kleine rustikale Unterkunft genau das Richtige. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und es hätte für unsere Vorstellungen, bei dem günstigen Preis nicht besser sein können. Wir haben gewusst, dass uns gemeinschaftliche Sanitäranlagen erwarten und unseren Spaß daran. Täglich hatten wir das totale Urlaubswohlfühlfeeling beim abendlichen Grill anfeuern und dem dem angenehmen dörflich, ruhigen Ambiente rings herum. Landschaftlich einmalig und wunderschön. Für unser Vorhaben war diese Unterkunft genau das richtige - Fahrradmann gleich nebenan! Das Wetter war auch perfekt, also hat alles gestimmt. Unser Frühstück wurde uns außerordentlich liebevoll zubereitet und war für den Start in den Tag lecker und ausreichend. Wir haben die Tage genossen und danken den sehr lieben und freundlichen Gastgebern. Den Vollkomfort haben wir dann alle wieder zu Hause. Vielen Dank!
