Our experience here was truly disappointing. I ordered a Rucola salad, and only when our table’s pizzas arrived did the waiter inform me they were out of Rucola—but they still had enough for pizzas? This should have been communicated when I ordered. The substitute Feldsalat arrived after everyone else had finished, drenched in dressing, more like soup than salad.
The pizzas were underwhelming as well. They seemed pan-baked, definitely not stone oven-baked, with a crust that felt like cardboard. Served on cold plates, they honestly didn’t hold up to even a frozen Aldi pizza.
The service was chaotic. We were given cappuccino saucers as side plates for antipasti and wine in cocktail glasses. The drinks took forever to arrive, and there was only one person at the bar for a packed restaurant (still can’t figure out why it was so busy). At times, no one was at the counter at all.
Overall, the experience fell far short of the price we paid. This was our second time here, and unfortunately, the same poor service and quality....
Read moreWhat a disappointment. We reserved a table for a family reunion and the restaurant was unable to provide us with a table, splitting us into different tables. Then we ordered our drinks and upon receiving we were informed that we would only receive the food after an hour waiting. As this place was meant to be n Italian restaurant, we began trying to order some vegan pasta, but the restaurant does not properly serve real Italian food nor is supporting vegan food. The only vrgan option tasted like cooked bread. My son (8y) who is allergic to eggs, felt offended that he had no option for him to eat, forcing us to leave the family reunion without eating so that i could give my child some food. The other children on the table, were also quite annoyed by the wait on the restaurant. The whole reunion became a disaster and everyone started to leave before food was properly served. If I could give a negative score for this restaurant, I...
Read moreThe location is of course superb. Right by the river, in a beautiful building a couple of meters off the ground. As for the food, I think they do a lot of things right, just the wow factor is missing to me. Also I had a Avocado-cream-cheese bread for brunch that was mostly salami which I found very odd. Salami was meant to be an ingredient, but the name clearly suggested a different meal. It was tasty though. When we went back for a late lunch we had some beautiful pasta dishes. I had the truffelpasta. It was pretty good, but I found it off putting, that my pasta dish was significantly less volume than my girlfriends. It should be noted in the menu if that's how they do it.
Service is a tough one, as when we were there they were understaffed, which I assume is not the norm. So it was a little slow. All personnel was very nice, however. And overall, we are talking about a very...
