Landgasthof Baumhof-Tenne — Restaurant in Marktheidenfeld

we arrived at the hotel at the same time with some others guest from an event which happened in Marktheidenfeld. It seems to be a problem for the staff when more than 2 person arrive at the same time, it took about 15 Minutes till they knew which was our room, than they had to search the key, then the booking documents....||The room was small and you could see that it was in an old farm. Many flies were in my room.||There was only a small old TV with an remote that didn´t work right.||But the room was tidy, even the bath, which had a bathtub.||In the night it...

Great place to stay overnight when you're driving somewhere and want to break the drive in two for example.

The people are really nice, the food is fantastic if you like German food (as I do), and the rooms were renovated fairly recently so it's all pretty modern and you won't find yourself missing anything.

Pricing is also really good, so you don't have to worry about it being too expensive. Parking's right next to the building and they've got a restaurant for in the evening, and breakfast room for in the morning.

Have stayed many times at the Baumhofftenne. Always had a great stay with good food and wine. Many walks around the well sited hotel which is in a very peaceful location. Very happy to be visiting again in 2009. Rooms are basic but clean and we are always made...
