Rustic, friendly, sensibly priced quiet Hotel and restaurant. Rooms very adequate, no frills but spacious and comfortable.. Lovely area for walking and cycling. We had three nights late May 2019.

Das Restaurant ist mir seit über 30 Jahren bekannt. Leider habe ich durch einen Jobwechsel keine Möglichkeit mehr es regelmäßig zu besuchen. Ich war immer begeistert von der tollen fränkischen Küche die ich dort genießen konnte. Ab und zu habe ich dort auch übernachtet. Preis Leistung hat immer gepasst und durch die freundliche familiäre Bewirtung hat man sich immer wohl gefühlt. Aber ich hoffe das ich später als Rentner dort wieder einkehren kann... 👍🏻

Nous voulions manger mais le patron nous a dit qu'il ne servait pas le jeudi. Nous y sommes donc retournés en week-end.... expérience digne d'un épisode de cauchemar en cuisine : plats industriels réchauffés et bouteille d'eau facturée 8€(achetée à Netto)

found this place along the road to Bayreuth. It's a simple place with a special touch. Very good kitchen with top traditional dishes served in a clean and down to earth environment at very reasonable prices. ||||The rooms are functional and clean.||||All in all a good experience and good...
